¿Cómo realizar la sustitución de una válvula de inflado o de sobrepresión?

En este nuevo post, hablaremos de otro paso muy importante a la hora del retubado de un flotador: el proceso de cambio de válvulas. Este, puede realizarse en dos partes: sustitución de la parte externa de la válvula o la válvula completa.

- SUSTITUCIÓN PARTE EXTERNA DE LA VÁLVULA

Para realizar el cambio de la parte externa de la válvula debemos tener el flotador desinflado. Comenzaremos aflojando la válvula a retirar, teniendo especial cuidado con no dañar el flotador. Todo esto puede realizarse con la ayuda de una llave dinamométrica, que no es más que una llave basada en el sistema de par de fuerzas, es decir, aplica dos fuerzas paralelas e iguales entre sí sobre un elemento, permitiendo así su rotación.

Posteriormente, se enrosca el nuevo cuerpo exterior con la llave dinamométrica teniendo siempre en cuenta la posición del anillo. ¡Ojo con la presión de apriete ya que en cada válvula viene predeterminada por el fabricante!.

Una vez se encuentra la válvula nueva instalada en nuestro flotador, este se vuelve a inflar, y tras 24 horas, se realiza un nuevo apriete de la misma ya que a causa de la dilatación del flotador puede sufrir variaciones.

- SUSTITUCIÓN VÁLVULA COMPLETA

Comenzaremos con la retirada externa de la válvula. Posteriormente, se procede a la retirada del cuerpo interno de la misma realizando pequeños cortes en el tejido del flotador, justo en el orificio. Una vez que la antigua se encuentre fuera del flotador, se introduce la parte interna de la válvula nueva.

Luego, se cortan dos arandelas del mismo tejido que el tubular con diámetro interior igual al orificio del flotador y el exterior: 3 centímetros mayor que el interno. Una de estas arandelas se pega por el interior del flotador y la segunda, por la parte exterior para evitar posibles pérdidas o fugas.

Para terminar, enroscamos la parte externa la de válvula. En este caso, antes de volver a inflar el flotador, se debe esperar entre 16 y 24 horas para que el adhesivo se encuentre totalmente seco.
