El pegamento Nauticol Hypalon Plus un adhesivo solvente en base policloropreno, de color blanco claro, formulado con una base de resinas, lo que favorece un mejor envejecimiento con periodos largos de exposición solar y resistente al agua.

Se utiliza para tejidos de Neopreno, Hypalon, cuero lite, EPDM, corcho aglomerado, caucho “Bios” y todo tipo de tejidos de goma. Es ideal para el pegado, fabricación y montaje de los flotadores de Zódiac, Neumáticas, Semirrígidas y otros hinchables.

Requiere reticulante y disolvente Tolueno. Mientras que los utensilios y herramientas que serán necesarias para el pegado son: vaso mezclador, una brocha, una lija fina, un lápiz para marcar, cinta carrocero, espátula de madera y secador o decapador.

Esta guía de aplicación es totalmente válida para todos los formatos, independiente de los diferentes envases: blíster de 200ml y envases de 500 ml, 750ml, 5 litros y 20 litros.

+ Primer paso

Limpiamos la zona sobre la que se va a pegar el tejido de Neopreno Hypalon con el disolvente Tolueno, retirando los restos de pegamento antiguo. En el caso de que no sea suficiente, se puede realizar un ligero lijado superficial con una lija fina, sin llegar a dañar el tejido. Si se trabaja sobre una superficie de fibra, se recomienda lijar para una mejor adherencia. Es importante dejar secar los restos del limpiador que hayan podido quedar durante 5 minutos para que se evapore.

+ Segundo paso

A continuación, se mezclará el pegamento para Neopreno Hypalon Plus con una proporción de reticulante del 3% al 5%, y se agitará lentamente para disolver posibles grumos. No se recomienda el uso de la cola transcurridas 2 horas tras la mezcla.

Mediante una brocha se aplicará el pegamento a las dos superficies a unir, dejando un período de, mínimo, 15 minutos entre la primera y la segunda mano.

+ Tercer paso

Posteriormente, hay que activar el pegamento con aire caliente mediante un secador de pelo y con una temperatura mantenida de entre 35°C y 60°C sobre las zonas encoladas. Justo antes de realizar el pegado final, se empezarán a unir ambas partes colocando las piezas por un extremo, evitando que queden bolsas de aires en el interior y se hará presión en las zonas pegadas con una espátula de madera o de goma para eliminar las posibles zonas de aire.
